MARCIA BLACK, Owner and Junior Stylist
As salon owner and junior stylist, Marcia guarantees that your design experience will be comfortable, warm, friendly and exceed your expectations. Marcia’s goal is to foster a creative, team oriented environment where stylists excel in their artistic abilities and gain a lot from each other’s ideas and expertise. Marcia has added "junior stylist" to her role as salon owner and loves the chance to help our clients feel beautiful and welcome from both behind the desk and behind the chair.

JANINE RIVERA, Senior Stylist
A Master Cosmetologist/Color Specialist, Janine uses her many years of experience and education to provide trendy, fun looks while complimenting her client’s hair texture and density with their personality and lifestyle. Janine could really be called the matriarch of our salon family. She has excelled in this industry for over 21 years, almost exclusively at Scruples. Janine’s dedication to her clientele, along with her great desire to make people happy, has made Janine one of Scruples’ most requested and respected stylist.

FRANCINE RUSSELL, Master Stylist
A Master Cosmetologist/Color Specialist and Redken Master Specialist, Francine has brought haircutting and coloring to a new level for her clients for over 20 years. These many years of experience and in-depth, up-to-date education translate into expert services for each client. In Atlanta for eight years, Francine might not be a native but has easily acclimated to the warm climate and friendly people. “I love both color and design”, says Francine, “I like to stay fresh and current to be able to bring the latest trends to my clients.”

A Master Cosmetologist/Color Specialist, Jessie combines advanced education in color and hair cutting trends to create beautiful color and hair designs for her clients. Jessie is a Redken Master Specialist as well as a Certified Extension Specialist and has spent her years in the industry increasing her level of expertise. From a very young age, Jessie was fascinated with the art and creativity of hair design and color. Jessie’s consistency and ability to find a new look that is both fresh and easy for her clients to replicate is the key to her success.

In the beauty business for over eight years, Luz’s talent extends way beyond her youthful look.

A Master Cosmetologist/Color Specialist with over ten years of experience in image design, Michelle has been trained in many cities from New York to Los Angeles. As a makeup artist and hair stylist, she used her craft to enhance the looks of on-air personalities and now uses that talent on each and every client. The newest member of the Scruples’ family, Michelle fits in perfectly and shares her own style and vast education with the team.

JENNY, Apprentice & Lead Assistant
Our long-time assistant, Jenny, is one of the most caring and selfless people you will ever meet. Ready for whatever task needs tackling, Jenny always gets the job done with a smile. Now she is looking forward to smiling from behind the chair as she begins her apprentice training. “I have been around it for so long now,” Jenny says,” I couldn’t help but get the ‘bug’!” For now though, while she is training, you can still enjoy her incredible shampoos and personal care.

Always trying to keep that young feeling in our family, we have Blessed Trinity High School Senior, Sarah. A recruited client, Sarah was asked personally by salon owner, Marcia, to become an assistant. "I felt so honored," recalls Sarah. A cheerleader and hopeful Clemson attendee, Sarah looks forward to bringing her own brand of enthusiasm to you each time she steps through the door.
